Exodus in Democratic Registration & The Plague that Amplified It

By: Kasey Lynae

A political shift across the U.S. amplifies as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party in recent years are becoming Republicans.

In June of 2022, more than 1 million voters across 43 states reportedly switched to the Republican Party, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press.

The shift is most pronounced in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against the Republican Party are swinging back. In 2022, more people switched to the GOP across suburban counties from Denver to Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland. Republicans also gained ground in counties around medium-sized cities such as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Raleigh, North Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Des Moines, Iowa.

Key Democratic Political figures have changed course, too. In October 2022, Tulsi Gabbard denounced the Democratic Party as an “elitist cabal of warmongers.” In April of 2023, four democratic lawmakers switched over to the GOP (Elliott Pritt, Jeremy Lacombe, Francis Thompson, and Tricia Cotham). Even the Dallas, TX Mayor switched from Democrat to the GOP, citing “American cities need Republicans” just a few short months ago (September, 2023).

Regardless of the likely suspect implications for government officials changing parties, there is no doubt the American people have had enough. So, I set out to figure out why.

Most of us America First Party goers (if it was a real party, and it should be) don’t understand how there could even be a question on why the Democratic party is not okay. The Donkey Party is associated with higher taxes, job killers (AB5), defunding cops, high crime, high inflation, high unemployment, terrible education, CRT, open borders, lax drug policies, homelessness…, and the list goes on.

But the most common consensus among those who switched parties recently was brainwashing and WOKEness.

Here is what some of you had to say on X or through my website forms submission page:

Robert says (through email):

The left likes to paint this colossal purge of registered democratic voters on the GOP – saying the GOP’s attempt to “brand” them as “socialist” is making the impact. In reality, voters cited concerns about dependence on the government. Voters said they were more concerned about embracing socialism through Democratic policies than being looked down upon as so-called fascists by being associated with the GOP.

Even Time Magazine, undoubtedly one of the most democratic organizations, cites wokeness as an issue. Recently, they put out an article explaining that the Democratic party itself is calling for the removal of “the activist left.” That’s a pretty big deal since the Democratic party is known to stick like glue to every horrible idea one person within the party has ever come up with. They usually don’t let go, regardless of having been proven wrong.

Currently, the Democratic party is heavily divided on whether to continue down this path of “wokeness” or not. Most of the key payers in power argue that they can’t afford to lose their progressive base. The changes in registration for 2024, may sway them in another direction if they don’t entirely ignore the majority of middle-class working Americans in an effort to cheat.
